Petal Power: Forbesfield Flower School

Have you seen the latest Cardiff Life? Can you guess who is behind the bouquet!? So exciting to be featured on the cover and to spread the word of  FFS - Forbesfield Flower School.

2018 is certainly featuring more and more greenery for me. As well as expanding the range of house plants for sale in the shop, I've teamed up with my good friend and superstar florist, Beth, to launch a brand new flower school for budding florists and hobbyists

I met flower queen Beth four years ago. Our friendship grew from a love of all things green - especially succulents - dogs and cake. Over the past year or so, we've tested the waters with one-off floristry workshops held in my old shop in Castle Arcade. Each session was a sell-out and demand for more was rising...

At the end of last year, we decided to take the plunge and launch FFS. We now offer a wide variety of regular workshops that teach using classic and innovative floristry techniques and mechanics. Students are provided with the best of British and Dutch-grown flowers and foliages to produce something that they can take home and be proud of.

It doesn't matter what your ability is or past experience you have. Our groups cater for curious novices, DIY brides-to-be and experienced professionals looking to add to their skill set. Our sessions give students a creative outlet to get inspired and create with like-minded people.
